What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the Word God, verbally inspired, inerrant – without error – and infallible – without the intention to deceive. In it we have all that God wants to communicate with mankind. Nothing should be added and nothing taken away. The Bible’s message has not come from the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21

We believe that in six literal days, a Triune God, out of His own good pleasure created all things from nothing by the Word of His power.

Genesis 1; Hebrews 11: 3.

Man created in a state of innocence, fell by the sin of Adam from that state; and so all mankind by ordinary generation remain under the wrath and curse of God reserved unto the pains of hell forever. Genesis 2:25 and 3:1-24; Romans 3: 12.

But God in the person of His Son came down from heaven; assumed a real body and a reasonable soul, being born of a virgin; His earthly mother Mary. Isaiah 7: 14; Matthew 1: 20-21; Hebrews 2: 14. He lived a perfectly righteous life upon earth, but by the merciful pre-determinate counsel of God He gave Himself to be crucified by the wicked hands of men for the sins of His elect people. Isaiah 53; Acts 2: 23. On the third day after His death He rose again from the dead by the power of God; and now by virtue of His once and only acceptable sacrifice in the shedding of His own blood and His active righteousness, God justifies all those who by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ receive Him as a perfect Saviour as He is freely offered in the Gospel. John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 1-9. All who so believe are accounted as righteous before God and are promised eternal life in the presence of the throne of God and of the Lamb in Heaven. Isaiah 54: 17; Romans 4:22-25; Revelation 21: 22-27.

At the last day – known only to God – Jesus will return to this earth to gather to Himself His own elect who died in Him and all those remaining alive. Matthew 24: 30-31; 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 We further believe in the general judgement and punishment in hell- which is called the second death – of all those who have lived and died without repentance unto life and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 13: 41,42; Revelation 20: 11- 15.
